Do The Towelettes Contain Alcohol?

No, our towelettes are free of alcohol. Ingredients include: Aloe (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract), Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract), Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract), Marshmallow Plant (Althaea Officinalis Root Extract), Vitamin E (DL-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate).

Are the towelettes biodegradable?

Yes, both Freshends and Freshstarts makeup remover towelettes are biodegradable.

How does Freshends choose ingredients?

We choose the highest quality ingredients that safely provide a superior level of comfort and cleanliness. We at Freshends are not married to our ingredients and maintain ongoing efforts (including both internal and external research) to assure that we maintain the highest levels of product quality and safety. You can be confident in knowing that our commitment to product quality and safety is unwavering.

Are the towelettes sewer and septic system safe? What makes them flushable?

Yes, both Freshends and Freshstarts towelettes are sewer and septic system safe. The fabric utilized in our towelettes has been tested by the independent NSF in accordance with INDA/EDANA “Guidance Document for Assessing the Flushability of Nonwoven Consumer Products (2008 Version 1)” and were found to be flushable for the following waste water and treatment systems:

  • Toilet building drain and house hold pump, (US, UK, and EU)
  • Onsite waste water treatment systems, (Septic and Aerobic)
  • Municipal collection and treatment systems, (Aerobic and Anaerobic)
  • Untreated discharge systems.

For best results, we recommend using no more than two towelettes per flush.

What metal finishes do the Freshends luxury towelette Wall Mounted Holder units come in?

The Freshends Wall Mounted Holders come in chrome, oil rub bronze, and satin-brush finishes.

How long do the Freshends and Freshstarts towelettes stay moist?

The towelettes have a shelf life of approximately two years when unopened and stored at room temperature.
